These are the things I think about

I’d been busy doing an all ground run of Heart Gold and since I’m at a point with a ridiculous amount of grinding I decided it’s Nuzlocke time! 
Tess evolved to a Garvantula in the middle of the Flying gym. She was already owning everything, but the evolution speed boost further powered up her electroball. That and Volt Switch pretty much always ended in a KO. Using her in that gym almost felt like cheating! So, I switched to Ramses my Boldore who also proceeded to decimate everything. Using Smack Down removed their ground immunity and let me slow down the flying types with the Bulldoze TM I got from Clay. His quick claw also came in handy. I ended up scrapping Iron Defense for Stealth Rock. I’m hoping I don’t regret it, but I love entry hazards and Ramses defense was already pretty stellar anyway. 
Skyla was probably my most anticlimactic gym leader yet. I 1 hit KO’d every one of her Pokemon. I lol’d. Sucks to suck.
